"Art is not meant to be strictly serious. It is meant to be an expression of the soul, of the heart. I enjoy incorporating childlike aspects into more serious or 'adult' topics that typically would have a strict and more 'mature' form to them by default. By incorporating more of a 'children's' art feeling into my pieces, it creates a place where anyone can understand it and anyone can relate to it because, at the end of the day, we were all children once and we all still carry that experience in our hearts."
